at 408 Greenwich Street, New York City 10013
With inspiration from maritime details around NYC and the Streamline Moderne style, we designed an elegant and inviting neighborhood café. Interior arches echo those on the building’s exterior and serve to highlight areas of the café. The scalloped steel bar is a nod to the iconic cast iron façades found in Tribeca. Additionally, this is the first Blue Bottle café interior to feature a navy blue color. Chosen to bring richness and depth to the space, the navy blue also complements the terracotta red exterior and the pale pink wood furniture.
We’re excited to present tubed plywood chairs by designer Waka Waka and a one-of-a-kind ceramic vase by artist Bari Zipperstein of Bzippy. Both of these artists’ works enhance the scallop motifs and colors found in this special café.
