The design for Edgemar café takes inspiration from its tiled exterior. Located on Main Street in Santa Monica, the building was originally built in the 1940s for Edgemar Farms, then remodeled in the 1980s by Frank Gehry, who added oversized skylights and clad the exterior in mint green tile.
Our modern update features tile from Heath Ceramics, plus custom sconces designed in collaboration with W/R/F and toh. A corner shelf displays vintage Edgemar Farms milk bottles as a nod to the building’s unique past.
